Four generations of the Morel family have followed the destiny of the company created by Jules Morel in 1880. In more than a century of history, Morel has learned how to evolve and manage technological as well as creative changes. In 1983,Morel's repurchase of Cottet marked an evolution of the production tool and commercial development across the world. In 1993,with the creation of its Morel US Inc branch, the company experiences a new international progress.
1997, Morel opted for creating its own brands: creation of the first brand, oga, a refined line with Scandinavian designs. 2000, Commercial merger of Morel and Cottet. 2007 Morel and Cottet merge under Morel name. 2010, The company celebrates its 130th anniversary. Jerome, Francis and Amelie, the 4th generation, manage the company.
